There are two ways to send your official electronic high school transcript through CFNC.org: 1) Follow the instructions at the end of your college application on CFNC, or 2) Send a transcript directly to a college regardless of the application platform you used (such as Common App). Here are the steps to request a transcript regardless of the application platform you used:
- Go to CFNC.org and either create a new account or log in to your existing account.
- Click on the "Apply To College" link at the top of the page.
- Click the orange "Application Hub" button on the right side of the page.
- On the Application Hub page, find and choose the "Request a Transcript" option.
- Review and update your personal information as necessary.
- Save your personal information by clicking the green "Save Personal Information" button.
You can select up to 5 colleges to send your transcripts to. To do this, check the boxes next to the desired colleges and then click on the "Request My Transcript" button on the right side of the screen. Please note that checking the boxes only indicates that you have successfully requested the transcripts, not that they have been sent.
Notes:
- This service is available only for participating NC public and public charter schools.
- If you graduated before 2007, you will need to submit a records request through your high school district office website.
- You can find your NC Student Number (formerly NC WISE number) on a report card or lunch card. CFNC does not have access to a database of NC Student Numbers, so you'll need to contact your high school or district office if you've lost your records.
