If you do not choose to enter any information for a particular parent, it's usually best to enter "Unknown" in the drop down menu for the question "Is your father/mother living?" Make sure that no other fields in that section are filled out (drop down menus included) and you should not have to enter any of your parent's information. This should not harm you in the application process and will eliminate the tedious work of finding all of the required information.
